Coordination with half-cycle lengths

For any subset of intersections in the coordinated arterial, you can divide the cycle length in half and obtain the resulting green wave.

  1. Move the mouse pointer over the intersection cycle length. The blue valve would appear; click it.

  2. In the popup, click the crossed-out “Half-cycle”.
The strikethrough will disappear, and the cycle length, green and red times will be halved.

  3. Repeat for all intersections you want to be half-cycled.

  4. Press the button “Calculate” and see the Arterial Portrait

  5. Click any dark asterisk in it.
You get everything you need for coordination: the corresponding Time-Space Diagram, all offsets, and phase sequences.
